On the 15th we successfully crossed the Canadian border and we had lunch in High River at Evelyn’s Memory Lane Cafe. Best soup ever! After that we spent some time in Calgary for my phone but it was a waste of time… We drove until the little nice cabin surrounded by horses that Dave booked on Airbnb in Cochrane to spend the night. After a big moment of stress for Dave, we had the most amazing shower after 6 days without. We went for dinner at Half Hitch Brewing Company and we had a great night sleep in the cabin. The next morning, I had an appointment at 10 am with the owner to brush the horses and it turned out that Dave and I played a “game” with the horses and her, it calls Equine Assisted Learning. She was training retired horses to help the communication between people. That was a such a sweet surprise! We headed to Banff National Park just after that, we stopped to have lunch in Canmore at Le Fournil and it was frenchy good !!!

We arrived in Banff and we visited the downtown. We went to get some information about trail conditions due to all the snow from the rangers. Dave showed me  his favorites places and we went to have dinner at Fairmont Banff Hot Springs Hotel, precisely at the Grapes Wine Bar. We ordered an excellent Canadian wine and some plates to share. It was delicious! The waitress was adorable and we talked a lot with her. She gave us some free cheese sticks and brioche in a bag before we left. We drove until Lake Louise after for the night.
