We arrived in Banff and we visited the downtown. We went to get some information about trail conditions due to all the snow from the rangers. Dave showed me  his favorites places and we went to have dinner at Fairmont Banff Hot Springs Hotel, precisely at the Grapes Wine Bar. We ordered an excellent Canadian wine and some plates to share. It was delicious! The waitress was adorable and we talked a lot with her. She gave us some free cheese sticks and brioche in a bag before we left. We drove until Lake Louise after for the night.

The next morning, we got coffee and breakfast in Lake Louise Village and we went to see the Lake Louise. We hiked in the Plain of the Six Glacier for 4 hours. We stopped at a very cute teahouse on our way up. It was superb! We went back in Lake Louise Village to have a late lunch, a soup and a beer before heading to Yoho National Park to see Emerald Lake. We walked around the lake and we drove back to Banff for the night. We met a Dave’s friends, Kace and Kelly on their honeymoon, when we went out after a drink at The Maple Leaf. Such a coincidence! After that we went to an Irish pub and I ate my first poutine. We went to bed after that and the next morning, June 18th, we went to hike in Kananaskis Country and we rented a cabin next to Canmore for the night.
