The day before, we decided to skip our 3rd night at the Fish Creek Campground and to sleep in Many Glacier to have less driving the next day on our way to Canada. So we packed our stuff in the morning of the 14th and we went to get some gas in West Glacier, unfortunately diesel wasn’t an option so we drove to Coram to fill Siouxsie’s tummy. The gas station was next door to one of the places the Texan family recommended us so we went and ate a huuuuuge breakfast over there. After some work done for Dave, we drove until Two Medicine Lake. We went to the ranger Station to gather some information. Dave wanted to go up Cobalt Lake but the amount of snow was too high so we went on the trail to Old Man Lake instead. It was a long, windy and beautiful hike, pretty flat, crossing some beautiful meadows. We didn’t go to the end but the views we got were still very nice. We saw a big moose but still no bears… After the hike we drove in direction of Many Glacier, we made a stop because we passed next to another spot recommended by the Texan family, Johnson’s Café and we decided to get dinner there. An incredible sunset followed us for the rest of the trip to Many Glacier where we were greeted by a black bear! We checked out the lodge of Many Glacier and later parked Siouxsie in an empty trailhead parking lot for a good night sleep.
