On the 19th of June, we went to Calgary for Dave’s meeting and we headed back to USA. We wanted to spend the night in Missoula but we decided to drive as close as we can from Big Sky and we found Choteau on the map. The next morning, we drove until Big Sky passing through Helena where we went to have a beer and a german sausage at the Lewis & Clark Brewery. After that we went to change Siouxsie’s oil and the team was so cool that they offered us some brand new wipers. Then we drove to Big Sky and we looked for a place we can take Jack with us and it turned out that it was a brewery, again… Beehive Basin Brewery. Dave worked for a while and I took Jack on a little walk. By night we went to a really nice place a little bit outside of Big Sky, Gallatin Riverhouse Grill. We had fun around the bar and around the fire pits before heading to a National Forest Access in order to find a quiet place to sleep. We found a flat space around a corner in front of an old gate. Perfect!

On the 21st of June, we went on a quick hike to Ousel Falls after grabbing a coffee downtown. It was an impressive discovery, a lot of water running and so fast! After that, we went to have lunch and we decided to go straight to West Yellowstone instead of a night in Bozeman. We had to pick up Heath, Dave’s roommate, at the airport the next morning. We had dinner in the same place than on the way up, Madison Crossing Lounge after we had a beer at The Buffalo Bar. We slept on the street away from the main street and we woke up and went straight to the airport. After we got some breakfast at the Smokejumper Cafe, we had some fun on the parking lot with some beach rackets we randomly bought. Heath landed and we hit the road to Yellowstone National Park. We went to see some new hot springs and for the second time, The Old Faithful.

After that, on our way to Jackson, we stopped for some great pizzas in Jackson Hole. The guys during the night went to meet Heath’s friend, Max. I was too tired to go out and have drink so I just slept in Siouxsie with Jack while they were having fun at The Cowboy Bar. The next morning, we went on the Snake River for some new good rafting with Max and Heath. They used to be river guides together in Texas. The river was quiet and we just chilled all along. We all tried to lead the raft and it was a lot of fun ! By night, we went to Max’s place to have dinner. He cooked amazing pasta a la Bolognese!
