Après une matinée de travail et de lessives, nous sommes retournés à Springdale pour le petit-déjeuner et un bon café. Nous avons ensuite traversé Zion National Park pour se rendre à Bryce Canyon National Park où nous nous sommes baladés très brièvement car seulement quelques points de vue étaient accessibles. Cette roche orangée en forme de piques sous la neige est partout autour de nous et c’est très beau à voir. Nous reprenons la route pour nous rendre à Page en Arizona. Nous arrivons de nuit et nous allons manger à State 48 Tavern. Nous trouvons ensuite un endroit où garer Siouxsie loin des lumières de la ville et passer la nuit. Le lendemain matin, nous nous rendons dans un café pour le petit-déjeuner et travailler un peu et nous nous arrêtons pour laver Siouxsie nous-même. Nous parlions de faire ça depuis un bout de temps et nous prenons plaisir à le faire !
Dave ne m’avait rien dit à ce sujet et nous nous sommes rendus à Horseshoe Bend juste après. Entourés de touristes asiatiques et de leur troisième bras zoomant, nous apprécions tout de même le paysage. Cet endroit dont on peut apercevoir des milliers de photos sur la toile est vraiment beau et nous capturons le moment afin d’ajouter nos photos à la collection. Nous prenons ensuite la route jusqu’à Monument Valley.

After some work and laundry, we came back to Springdale for breakfast and coffees. Then, we crossed Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park where we wandered very briefly as only a few view points were open. This orange rock in the shape of pikes under the snow was everywhere around us and it was very beautiful to see. We hit the road back to Page in Arizona. We arrived by night and we got dinner at State 48 Tavern. Then, we found a place to park Siouxsie away from the city lights and spend the night. The next morning we went to a coffeeshop for breakfast and work a bit and we stopped at the carwash for Siouxsie. We were talking about doing this for a while and we enjoyed doing it!
Dave had not told me anything about it and we went to Horseshoe Bend right after. We were surrounded by Asian tourists and their third zooming arm but we still enjoyed the scenery. This place that we can see thousands of photos on the net is really beautiful and we captured the moment to add our photos to the collection. Then, we hit the road to Monument Valley.
