We left Austin on the 30^th and our plan was to stay the night in Palo Duro Canyon State Park but we finally decided to drive as far as we can to get as close to Colorado as possible. The next morning, we went to Manitou Springs and we hiked The Incline, it’s a lot of steps and a nice view. We had dinner with Dave’s boss and we watched the Penguins game.

On the 1^st of June, Dave and his boss went to a bunch of meetings in Colorado Springs and Denver. After this busy business day, Dave and I got a beer at Epic Brewery and some Hawaiian food before we went to see a movie from Chris Burkard, an adventure photographer, in Denver. We went to spend the night in the hills of Boulder after that, in a nice house in the middle of nowhere. The next morning, we went to Mountain Sun Brewery to eat something and we walked around the main street of Boulder. We had a tea at Dushanbe Tea House before heading to Steamboat Springs. We decided to go on a hike to Fish Creek Falls before meeting Travis and Andrea. She made amazing sushi rolls and we drank some sake. On the 3^rd of June, we spent the day with Dave’s friends and we went rafting on the Yampa River. It was such a good day, we got wet, we watched some wildlife and we went to a party in the countryside organized by the old sister of Dave’s friend. We had a nice dinner with Travis and Andrea before going to bed. The next morning, we headed to Jackson after we had breakfast with Travis and Andrea.
